見事オニを退治した桃太郎は、どこへ行っても人気者です。しかし、とある村に立ちよると、われこそが桃太郎だと名乗る者たちが現れたのです。自分が本物だと証明するために、さあ、昔の仲間を集めましょう。

もっとも桃太郎っぽい人を決める！ 桃太郎系セットコレクション！

カードや、きび団子を使って、いち早く自分の場に「いぬ」「さる」「きじ」3匹のおともを揃えたら勝ち！

桃太郎っぽいんと（勝利点）

左上の数字。桃太郎っぽい度を表すポイント。

カードの種類

「おとも」「どうぐ」の2種類。「おとも」は後述する「きび団子をあげる」の対象となる。

数字の右に書かれた名前。

⚡ 即時効果：カードを場に出したときの効果
∞ 常時効果：カードが場にある限り続く効果

カード総数

サイコロの目の数だけ、同じカードがある。

1. プレイ人数に応じて指定枚数を裏向きのまま山札から取り除き、箱に戻します。3人以下：3枚／4人以上：1枚
2. 各プレイヤーは山札からカードを1枚引き、手札とします。
3. 人数分のきび団子チップを準備し、山札の近くにひとまとめにします。これを「きび団子置き場」と呼びます。
4. 山札の隣は共通の捨て場とします。カードや賞味期限切れのきび団子を置く場所となります。

1. 最近桃を食べた人が、スタートプレイヤーとなります。時計回りにゲームを進行します。
2. プレイヤーは手番に下記a,b,cの中から1つを選び、アクションを行います。
   ※a,b,cどれもできない場合のみ、何もせずパスになります。

a. カードを使う

山札からカード1枚を引き手札に加えます。その後、手札から1枚を自分の場に出し、効果を使います。
※山札がない場合、カードは引かずに手札を場に出します。
※使ったカードは自分の場に並べて置きます。

b. きび団子をもらう

きび団子置き場から、きび団子を1つ獲得します。
※きび団子は最大1つまでしか持てません。
※きび団子置き場に、きび団子がない場合「きび団子をもらう」はできません。

c. きび団子をあげる

他のプレイヤーの場から、おともカード1枚を選び、その上にきび団子を乗せます。そのカードを自分の場に置き、効果を使います。
※右隣のプレイヤーのおともを「きび団子をあげる」の対象にできません。【例】A→B→C→Dの順でゲームをしているとき、BはAを「きび団子をあげる」の対象にできません。
※プレイヤーは「きび団子をあげる」を1ゲームに1回までしかできません。
※山札がなくなったとき、きび団子は賞味期限となり、使えなくなります（未使用きび団子を捨て場に置きます）。

3. 下記2つの勝利条件が達成されているかを確認します。達成していればそこでゲーム終了です。達成していなければ、手番を時計回りで次のプレイヤーに移します。

勝利条件1 もっとも桃太郎なのはもちろん俺！

「いぬ」「さる」「きじ」3匹のおともカードを自分の場に揃えたら、勝ちとなります。ワイルドカードで、たぬき、きつねが含まれていても勝ちとなります。【例】いぬ、たぬき、きつね でも勝ち！

勝利条件2 もっとも桃太郎っぽいのはもちろん俺！

誰も自分の場に「いぬ」「さる」「きじ」を揃えられず、全員の手札がなくなったとき、各プレイヤーの「桃太郎っぽいんと」の合計を比べ、1番大きいプレイヤーが勝ちとなります。
※同点の場合、おともをより引き連れているプレイヤーが勝ちとなります。それでも同じ場合、より後手番のプレイヤーが勝ちとなります。

4. 各自が集めたMyおともについてワイワイ語り合いましょう。記念写真を撮るのもオススメです！

Q.「きび団子をもらう」は何回でもできるの？

A. できます。「あげる」とは違い回数制限はありません。ただし持てるのは最大1個までです。

Q.「きび団子をあげる」をした以降の手番に「きび団子をもらう」はできるの？

A. できます。きび団子は人数分しかないため、することで、他の人の「あげる」を間接的に妨害できます。

Q. BさんがCさんから奪ったおともに「きび団子をあげる」はできるの？

A. できます。その場合おともの上にきび団子が2個乗ります。

Q.「桃太郎の証」を出した後に、おともが2枚以下になったらどうなるの？

A.「桃太郎の証」を捨て場に置きます。

Q. 相手の場の「いぬ」を奪う方法はあるの？

A.「くま」の効果で奪うことができます。

Q. 相手の場の「かめ」を奪う方法はあるの？

A. 場に出して1巡経った「かめ」ならば奪うことができます。

Q. 相手の場の「どうぐカード」を奪う方法はあるの？

A.「くま」の効果で奪うことができます。

Q.「くま」の効果で引き分けの場合はどうなるの？

A. カードの移動は行いません。

Q.「まさかり」の効果で、きび団子が乗ったおともを捨て場に置いたとき、きび団子の扱いはどうなるの？

A. おともと一緒に捨て場に置きます。

2人用ルール

• きび団子を人数分（2個）準備します。
• プレイヤー1 → プレイヤー2 → NPCの順で手番を行います。
• NPCはプレイヤー1、2が交互に操作します。プレイヤーはNPCの手札を見ることはできません。カードを使う場合、ランダムに選択することになります。（NPC操作権の目印として箱をマーカーとして下さい）
• きび団子は制限なく誰に対しても使用できます。それ以外は3人以上と同様のルールとなります。

チーム戦ルール（4人専用）

• 手番が奇数同士、偶数同士がチームとなります。
• 個人戦とルールは変わりません。勝利条件を満たしたプレイヤーが所属しているチームが勝利となります。
• 勝利条件2はチームでの合計値ではなく、個人での値を比較します。
• チームで相談してもらって問題ありませんが、手札を見せ合うことはできません。

Breaking: the “It's Me, Momotaro!” scam!

After famously defeating the oni, Momotaro is popular wherever he goes. But in one village, people appear claiming, “I am Momotaro!” To prove you're the real one, gather your old companions.

Decide who is the most Momotaro! A Momotaro-themed set-collection game.

Use cards and kibi-dango to be the first to gather the three companions, Dog, Monkey and Pheasant, in your play area.

Momotaro Points (victory points)

The number in the top-left corner: how Momotaro-like the card makes you.

Card type

Companion or Item. Companions can be targeted by “Give kibi-dango” (see below).

Printed to the right of the number.

Effect

⚡ Instant: takes effect when you play the card.
∞ Ongoing: lasts while the card is in your area.

Copies

The die face shows how many copies of the card are in the deck.

1. Depending on the player count, remove cards face down from the deck and return them to the box: 3 or fewer players: 3 cards; 4 or more: 1 card.
2. Each player draws 1 card as their hand.
3. Put kibi-dango chips equal to the number of players near the deck. This is the kibi-dango supply.
4. Next to the deck is the shared discard pile, for discarded cards and expired kibi-dango.

1. Whoever ate a peach most recently goes first. Play continues clockwise.
2. On your turn, choose one of the actions a, b or c below.
   You pass only if you can't do any of them.

a. Use a card

Draw 1 card from the deck into your hand. Then play 1 card from your hand to your area and use its effect.
If the deck is empty, play your hand card without drawing.
Played cards stay lined up in your area.

b. Take kibi-dango

Take 1 kibi-dango from the supply.
You can hold at most 1 kibi-dango.
If the supply is empty, you can't take this action.

c. Give kibi-dango

Choose a Companion card in another player's area and put your kibi-dango on it. Move that card to your area and use its effect.
You can't target companions of the player on your right. Example: in turn order A→B→C→D, B can't target A.
Each player can give kibi-dango only once per game.
When the deck runs out, kibi-dango expire and can't be used (put unused ones in the discard pile).

3. Check the two win conditions below. If one is met, the game ends. Otherwise, play passes clockwise.

Win 1 — Obviously, I'm the most Momotaro!

Gather the Dog, Monkey and Pheasant companion cards in your area and you win. Tanuki and Fox are wild, so they count too. Example: Dog, Tanuki and Fox also wins!

Win 2 — Obviously, I'm the most Momotaro-ish!

If nobody completes the trio and every player's hand is empty, compare total Momotaro Points; the highest total wins.
Ties go to the player with more companions. If still tied, the player later in turn order wins.

4. Chat about the companions you collected. A commemorative photo is highly recommended!

Q. Can I take kibi-dango as many times as I like?

A. Yes. Unlike giving, there's no limit, but you can hold only one at a time.

Q. After I've given kibi-dango, can I still take kibi-dango on later turns?

A. Yes. There are only as many kibi-dango as players, so taking one can indirectly stop others from giving.

Q. Can I give kibi-dango to a companion that B already stole from C?

A. Yes. The companion then carries 2 kibi-dango.

Q. What happens if I play Proof of Momotaro and later have 2 or fewer companions?

A. Discard Proof of Momotaro.

Q. Is there a way to take an opponent's Dog?

A. Yes, with the Bear's effect.

Q. Is there a way to take an opponent's Turtle?

A. Yes, once a full round has passed since it was played.

Q. Is there a way to take an opponent's Item card?

A. Yes, with the Bear's effect.

Q. What if the Bear's comparison is a tie?

A. No card moves.

Q. If the Broad Axe discards a companion carrying kibi-dango, what happens to the kibi-dango?

A. It goes to the discard pile with the companion.

2-player rules

• Prepare kibi-dango equal to the number of players (2).
• Turns go Player 1 → Player 2 → NPC.
• Players 1 and 2 take turns controlling the NPC. Players can't look at the NPC's hand; when the NPC uses a card, pick it at random. (Use the box as a marker for who controls the NPC.)
• Kibi-dango can be given to anyone, without restriction. Everything else follows the 3+ player rules.

Team rules (4 players only)

• Players 1 and 3 form one team; players 2 and 4 form the other.
• Rules are the same as the individual game. The team of the player who meets a win condition wins.
• For Win 2, compare individual totals, not team totals.
• Teammates may talk strategy but can't show each other their hands.
